MIDDLEBORO (AP) — A motorbike driver was killed Friday evening after crashing right into a phone pole in Middleboro following a quick chase with an officer, in keeping with police.
A Lakeville police officer tried to cease the bike round 11:45 p.m. after seeing it going 68 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per-hour zone on Lakeville’s Primary Road, in keeping with an announcement from Lakeville and Middleboro police.

After ending the chase, the officer adopted the trail of the bike and located that it crashed right into a phone pole simply over the Middleboro city line on Vaughan Road.
The bike driver was taken to Morton Hospital and later pronounced useless.
