BOSTON (CBS) — The Harvard males’s basketball program was set to pay a go to to the Kansas Jayhawks at Allen Fieldhouse on Wednesday. However that recreation has been canceled due to a mix of accidents and constructive COVID-19 exams throughout the Harvard program.
“The Ivy League continues to maintain the security of its student-athletes, employees and larger campus communities on the forefront of its decision-making throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,” Harvard said in its launch asserting the cancelation. “Campus insurance policies throughout the league require student-athletes to be totally vaccinated.”
The sport is not going to be rescheduled this season, and Kansas is at present in search of an opponent to fill the void.
Harvard is at present 8-4 on the season, sitting in third place within the Ivy League.
