Several cars damaged as Queens building partially collapses during demolition work

NEW YORK — A constructing in Queens partially collapsed Thursday.

It occurred simply earlier than 2 p.m. on thirty first Drive between Vernon Boulevard and twelfth Road in Astoria.

Investigators say the one-story business constructing was vacant and being demolished. Throughout demolition work, a part of a wall and the roof collapsed.

Bricks and different particles hit and broken a number of parked automobiles.
