Graffiti duo busted for tagging trains in NYC: cops

A person from Portugal and a Brooklyn girl have been busted for spray portray graffiti on subway vehicles in Queens, the NYPD mentioned Thursday.

Hugo Guerreiro, 39, and Alexis Gines, 32, have been stopped round 2 a.m. Wednesday after cops responded to a 911 name about graffiti on subway trains on the seventy fifth Avenue Subway Station in Forest Hills, police mentioned.

The NYPD’s Citywide Vandals Job Pressure investigated and recovered two duffel luggage that have been thrown below autos, police mentioned. 

The luggage “contained 15 cans of spray paint matching the paint used to make the graffiti,” police mentioned. A police scanner was recovered from the Gines.  

Guerreiro and Gines have been charged with legal mischief, making graffiti, reckless endangerment, legal mischief with intent to wreck property, possession of graffiti devices and legal trespass, police mentioned.

Guerreiro flew in from Portugal on June 20, a police supply mentioned. The trains that have been tagged have been being saved in a tunnel.
