FRANKFURT (Reuters) – Mercedes-Benz denied a German media report that it was weighing a sale of its vans enterprise because the automaker plans to place extra strategic weight on high-end autos.
The weekly Supervisor Magazin on Thursday mentioned a potential sale of the vans enterprise – beforehand seen as sacrosanct – was being mentioned as a measure of final resort, citing supervisory board sources.
