Israeli lidar automobile sensors Innoviz Applied sciences Ltd. (Nasdaq: INVZ) has reported that it has signed a strategic settlement with Volkswagen. The corporate stated that it’ll provide lidar sensors to Volkswagen’s CARIAD division, which is engaged in procuring, creating and putting in superior know-how parts in VW Group’s autos.
Innoviz will provide its new technology, superior sensor known as Innoviz 2 for set up in future fashions of Audi, Skoda, Seat, and Volkswagen autos and extra manufacturers within the group. That is Innoviz’s third strategic deal and its first deal was with BMW.

Innoviz cofounder and CEO Omer Keilaf stated, “We’re thrilled to work with the CARIAD workforce and be a provider of LiDAR sensors and notion software program to assist secure mobility for autos launching from the center of the last decade. Innoviz’s share worth is up 20% on Nasdaq at $4.79, giving a market cap of $642.75 million.
