Billerica woman says ice cream company’s listeria outbreak caused her miscarriage

BILLERICA – A Billerica mom is suing an ice cream firm after she mentioned a listeria outbreak tied to their merchandise precipitated her miscarriage.

The lady mentioned she was 11 weeks pregnant when she ate Massive Olaf ice cream in Florida.

She received sick two weeks later and discovered about her miscarriage.

Well being Division officers have since linked the ice cream to a listeria outbreak.

The lady is asking for greater than $30,000 in damages.

Thus far the ice cream firm has not responded to the lawsuit.
