Dearness Allowance: Some stories have been claiming that the federal government has elevated the Dearness Allowance from 34% to 38% and the extra installment of DA will probably be efficient from July 1, 2022. These stories even claimed that the central authorities staff will get the DA cash by the tip of this month i.e. September. The copy of the order going viral on social media carried the signature of Nirmala Dev – Deputy Secretary to the Authorities of India. Nevertheless, the fact-checking wing of the Public Data Bureau (PIB) has now said that no such order was issued by the Ministry of Finance.
The PIB Reality Examine workforce stated that the letter is being circulated on WhatsApp.
Sharing an image of the ‘pretend order’, the PIB Reality Examine workforce stated, “A pretend order circulating on WhatsApp is claiming that the extra installment of Dearness Allowance will probably be efficient from July 1, 2022.
“Division of Expenditure, @FinMinIndia has not issued any such order,” the tweet reads.

The copy of the order that went viral on WhatsApp had a topic line – “Grant of Dearness Allowance to Central Authorities staff – Revised Charges efficient from 1.7.2022.”
“The undersigned is directed to confer with this Ministry’s Workplace Memorandum No 1/1/2022-E-16 (B) dated twenty eighth February, 2022 on the topic talked about above and to say the President is happy to resolve that the Dearness Allowance payable to Central Authorities staff shall be enhanced from the prevailing charge of 34% to 38% of the fundamental pay with impact from 1st July, 2022.” the letter circulated on WhatsApp reads.
It’s price mentioning that the federal government revises the Dearness Allowance twice yearly. The primary one is completed in January and the second in July. The Central authorities had elevated the DA by 3% in January 2022. With this, the DA went as much as 34% of fundamental.
